To reprint some thing is not the same as copieing from the past.
Reprint is " Taking a lesson from the past" but imitation is just "Imitation".

I understand this reprint is thire way to prove thire lessons from the past.
Maybe they haven't thought like I felt, but surely I could see the roots of creativity of this the two originatores.

And the important point of this reprint is they reprinted their original items.
The respect to the original makes a new original. It's a positive spiral.

Two young leaf name "NOWHERE" became a big tree in this 15years.
And they are passing huge energy to the next generation.

This reprint in London reminds me of a two young leaves coming out from a big tree.
But that young leaves has a huge roots that you can't imagin.
And 7STARS DESIGN is so proud to be part of the family tree.

何かを復刻することは、過去に存在した何かを模造するという行為ではない。
復刻は「温故知新」であり、模造は「サルまね」である。

今回の復刻は、まさしく「温故知新」を実践したものと解釈してよいだろう。
両氏は、決してそんなややこしいコトを考えて行動したわけではないだろうが、
数々のオリジナルを世に送り出してきた、両氏の創造の源泉を垣間みることができた。

今回の復刻対象が、両氏自身が生み出したオリジナルである点も、特筆すべく点だ。
オリジナルに対する尊敬は、新たなオリジナルを生み出す、ポジティブなスパイラルだ。

１５年前、世に芽をだしたNOWHEREという双葉は、みごとな巨木に成長した。
沢山の葉をつけ花を咲かせ、その果実は、次世代へのエネルギーとなった。

ロンドンにおける復刻は、その巨木から芽をだした新しい双葉をみるようだ。
しかも、それは、創造もつかないほどの大きな根をもった芽であろう。
あらためて、7STARS DESIGNがその根のひとつであることを誇りに感じる。

そして、両氏の今後の躍進に期待。
