In the 80's, I actually didn't know so much about JASON JESSEE's skating.
I always fast forwarded the vert part of the video...
Even the "STREET ON FIRE" video, all I remember was NATAS skating.

In the 90's, my biker friend showed me a photo of JASON standing on rigid frame Harley.
And all I thought was skater has a good balance.

Few years later, I went to try this new vert in town just for a laugh.
Then I found out it's impos sible for average skater to go through the rip of vert.

Few years later, INDIAN LALLY died by bike stunt.
Then I found you'll die if you ride on a bike with out helmet.

The truth is hard to find...

So I guess I wouldn't realize anything from this exhibition straight away.
But maybe one day I will find something out through this, so I think I'll go.
Harajyuku ain't that far anyway.

8０年代当時のJASON JESSEEのスケートを、正直オレは、あまり知らない。
何故なら、いつもバートのパートは、早送りしてたから（サーセン...）
STREET ON FIREも、NATASのパートしか記憶に残っていない。

９０年代になって、ハーレーに乗ってる友達からJASON JESSEEが
リジッドフレームのハーレーに立ち乗りしてる写真をみせてもらった時も、
スケーターは、やっぱバランスいいな。程度にしか思わなかった。

数年後、都内にもでかいバートができて、遊び半分に滑ってみて知った。
バートのリップを抜けるコトは、常人には不可能なことだと。

数年後、インディアンラリーが立ち乗りに失敗して亡くなったと聞いた。
その時はじめて、ノーヘルでバイクから落ちると人は、死ぬと知った。

本当の本当は、なかなか凡人には、すぐ解らないもんだと思う。

そんな訳で、オレは、今、この個展にいっても多分何も感じとれないと思う。
でも、この個展の意味が解る時が来るかも知れないから、
とりあえず見にいってみようと思う。原宿は、近所だし。
