In his youth, Toshiya Horiuchi learned graphic design and architectural perspective by hand and air-brush from his father who was a designer.
He started his career at FILE RECORDS Inc. and EPIC/SONY RECORDS in the late 1980s in Tokyo. After working for various fields in the music business, he started his own business as a designer.
During the same period, he learned sign painting and developed his style that is a hybrid of digital and drawing.
In 1995, He founded 7STARS DESIGN.
He took part in several movements such as music, fashion and extreme sports in those days, in Tokyo.
The company has expanded its business fields: graphic design, brand management, event production, product design, video making and art project.
After 20th anniversary of the company, he focus on graphic design again and continues to improve the skill, day by day.
